Welcome three new Human Resources staff

Yale Human Resources hired three new staff members in January 2022; please join us in welcoming them.

Join us in welcoming Ivory Lee to the Yale Human Resource family! Ivory is the newest member of the Employee Relations team. As an Employee Relations Support Specialist, she supports a group of Human Resource Generalists and the Director of Employee Relations, Tricia Napor.

Ivory has over three years’ experience at Yale, most recently as a Senior Administrative Assistant at the Beinecke Library in Collections, Research, and Education. She has a B.A. in Sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic.

Please welcome Daniel Diamond, who recently joined the Human Resources Absence Management team. As a Paid Family and Medical Leave Analyst (PFML), Daniel provides support and guidance through leaves of absence, particularly those impacted by a state PFML program. He reports to Raina Sorgenti, Associate Director, Absence Management Programs.

Prior to Yale, Dan worked at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston as an onboarding specialist/HR assistant. He also worked for Education Staffing Solutions assisting public school districts in Waterbury, Connecticut sourcing and recruiting substitutes. His attention to detail and drive to provide excellent customer service will support our community’s needs. Originally from Connecticut, he received a B.S. in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.

Please welcome Gerald Sorensen. He joined Staffing and Career Development as an M&P Recruiter. Since October 2021, Gerald has been a temporary recruiter on the team. His portfolio includes the Departments of Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and the Yale Child Study Center. He reports to Ali D’Amico, Assistant Director of Staffing.

Gerald has over 15 years of recruiting experience, including his recent work experience with Lockheed Martin.
