He studied sports medicine at Southern Connecticut State University and served as a Yale Security FTO in recent years.

Eric Traester has been at Yale for seven years as part of the Yale Security team. Prior to Yale he worked as a customer service representative and in contract security. He served as an FTO and is a certified Basic Life Support Instructor with the American Heart Association. Eric has a B.A. in Communications from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire, where he received the Gold Honor for High Cumulative GPA.
