Welcome new staff to the Human Resources Team

Please join us in welcoming several new staff members to Yale’s Human Resources Department.

Abraham “Abe” Vincenti recently joined the Human Resources Employee Relations (HRER) team as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG). He supports the following departments: the Office of Development, the Office of Public Affairs and Communications, the Office of Student Affairs and Vice President of Student Life, Investments, Agency Accounts, and the Yale Alumni Magazine. Abe has over 11 years of experience working as an HRG and has an M.S. in Human Resources Development from Clemson University in South Carolina. After more than seven years at Starbucks, he joined Yale, where he worked as an HR learning specialist, senior HR associate, and senior talent specialist. Abe also helped facilitate the integration of Teavana into Starbucks and the expansion of the Georgia roasting plant.

Helena Adams recently joined the HRER team as an HRG supporting Yale Medicine. Helena has over ten years of experience in human resources and, before Yale, worked at Veoci, Inc. in New Haven, Connecticut as a people operations director. Helena’s HR career began at Cintas Corporation as an HR manager. She brings valuable knowledge in employee engagement programs and employee relations and has an MBA in Human Resources from Quinnipiac University.

Ben Wretlind recently joined the Organizational Effectiveness and Staff Development team as a Training Specialist II, reporting to Stephanie Gosteli, Director of Learning and Development. Ben will be responsible for the ongoing administration and maintenance of the Managing at Yale (MAY) programs. He will also help develop and design learning reinforcement programs to support leadership training objectives delivered through the MAY programs.

Ben previously worked at Yale as a contractor, supporting the Managing at Yale programs. He has over ten years of experience in HR, supporting performance management, training and learning, and development initiatives. Ben has an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.

Jacqueline Pawlowski joined the HR Staffing team as a Candidate Development Specialist reporting to Nick Barone, Talent Sourcing Manager. She is responsible for planning, developing, and executing a range of creative, effective recruitment, sourcing, and diversity talent acquisition strategies targeted at recruiting top candidates for Yale.

In addition, Jacqueline will be responsible for identifying, engaging, screening, and presenting top professional-level talent, assisting with ad-hoc, niche, and difficult-to-fill positions, and promoting Yale as an employer-of-choice to potential candidates. She previously worked at Yale as a temporary employee, supporting M&P recruiters on job openings in hospitality, finance, IT, and student services.
