Find Suppliers – Yale now includes Supplier Classification

The Find Suppliers – Yale report now includes Supplier Classification data, identifying attributes such as Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Veteran-Owned, and U.S. Small Businesses. A Supplier Classification prompt allows users to search for suppliers with specific classifications. For suppliers where one or more Supplier Classifications is captured in Workday, the Supplier Classification will appear in report results next to the Supplier Group column. 

Data collection for Supplier Classifications in Workday is just getting underway, so data is currently limited. Procurement’s initial focus is to capture Supplier Classification data for New Haven and Connecticut based businesses. Over time, Procurement will extend their data collection to request Supplier Classification data from other U.S. based businesses.
