Yale Cybersecurity Awareness launches Apply Updates Campaign

Do you know that out-of-date software makes it easier for cybercriminals to access your data and systems?

The Yale Cybersecurity Awareness Program is pleased to launch our latest campaign, Apply Updates. We’ll share key information and simple strategies to help keep your personal information safe.

Here are a few ways you can build your Apply Updates cybersecurity muscles in May and June:

• Join us for one of our upcoming Apply Updates Kahoot competitions on May 12 and June 9 to build your knowledge. You will learn how to “Pause.Patch.Protect.” and up your Apply Updates know-how. The interactive and engaging environment makes learning about cybersecurity awareness fun. And we’re adding timely spring into summer trivia questions too! Register to join in the fun. The top finishers and most active participants will walk away with some cool cybersecurity swag prizes!
• Register for our May 19 Lunch and Learn: Pause, Patch & Protect: Impactful Cyber Stories to Build Your Cyber Fitness. You’ll learn interesting facts and what NOT to do from our guest speakers.
• Ready to show your Apply Updates spirit? What better way than to get you and/or your whole team using the Apply Updates virtual background. A reminder that small cybersecurity steps can make a big difference. Submit your individual or team entry now through June 3!
