Graduate Student Funding Process on track to go live in July 2022

Summary
In July 2022, Yale will transition to a new Graduate Student Funding (GSF) process using Banner, Workday, and a Data Mart for Graduate School payment transaction execution and reporting. The Graduate Student Payment System (GSPS) will be decommissioned in June.
- This change will impact graduate students, faculty, and staff that support graduate funding.
- User testing is done, and feedback has been implemented.
- Training, including live demos, self-paced, and user guides, will be provided in June. Impacted individuals will receive further information in a seperate communication.
Details
- This new process impacts all payment transactions initiated and managed by the current GSPS system and the mechanism creating reports. All other processes supporting graduate funding remain the same.
- Compensation Plans and Costing Allocation for the academic year will be sent from Banner to Workday during July for the following September through August academic year.
- There will be no changes from a user entry perspective to Teaching Fellow System (TFS).
