Office of Facilities launches AssetWorks and a new service request form beginning on Friday, July 1

Summary

As previously announced, the Office of Facilities will launch AssetWorks to replace its current management system (FAMIS) on Friday, July 1, 2022.  

• All Facilities employees have received training for AssetWorks and information on sunsetting FAMIS.
• All Yale staff, faculty, and students will use a new Facilities work request (FWR) form to submit all routine and urgent service request needs from Facilities Services. Find more information below.
• Migration to AssetWorks will have little to no disruption in Facilities processes and support.

Details

• The new system provides a modernized platform with expanded capability and technological advances for asset management, billing, procurement, work order, and maintenance processes to support more than 300 buildings at Yale. Please refer to the Office of Facilities website for more information.
• Beginning Friday, July 1, you can access the FWR form using the “Submit a Request” button on the Office of Facilities website.
