  • On May 18, Policy 3201 General Purchasing was updated to include new language prohibiting transaction splitting of Purchase Orders (PO).
  • In support of this update, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) are available to assist you with understanding the rationale for the policy update. The FAQ also highlights best practices and areas of focus in the day-to-day management of purchasing activities.
  • Online information sessions with dedicated office hours included have been established to review the policy changes and impact. You can register to attend one of the sessions via Yale’s Training Management System (TMS) - login to Yale’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) is required. Please refer to the schedule in the Details section.

Online information sessions with office hours

In-person information sessions with office hours included are available via Zoom for Policy 3201. Office hours will occur between Wednesday, September 21, and Thursday, October 6. Please reference the schedule below for the exact day and time.

  • Please register for an online information session with office hours (Yale VPN required) today and join us for a session that will:
  • Answer your questions regarding updated Policy 3201.
  • Highlight FAQs and best practices.
  • Provide the information you need to process POs successfully.
  • Guide you on how to engage with the Procurement team for support.
