Best overnight oats

Makes 1 serving

 

Base ingredients

  • ½ cup quaker rolled oats (not quick cooking or instant)
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • ¼ cup greek yogurt or any plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

Optional add-ins

  • ½ cup fresh peach skin on, slivered almonds, ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ mashed banana, ½ tsp vanilla extract, ½ tsp cinnamon, walnuts or dark choc chips or both
  • ½ chopped apple, peanut butter, pecans, ½ cinnamon
  • ¼ cup small diced pineapple, 1 tbsp shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup shredded carrot, 1 tbsp shredded coconut, raisins, ½ vanilla extract,1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Mix together base ingredients well and add in extra ingredients.
  2. Place in 16 oz jar/Tupperware. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Can be eaten cold or you can microwave it for one minute and 20 seconds.
