If you see something, say something

We can increase our cyber fitness by paying attention to both our physical and digital surroundings.

Immediately report any suspected security incidents to the Information Security Office, especially if you work with HIPAA covered data. Did you know that Yale has legal obligations to report a security incident involving HIPAA data within a certain period of time? As soon as you notice something is amiss, the clock starts ticking! Visit the Information Security Report an Incident page to find out more.

How can you increase the physical security of your data? Always lock your computer when you step away, talk to your IT support provider if you need help setting up your computer to lock automatically.
