Yale Human Resources welcomes new hires – January 2023

Yale Human Resources (HR) is pleased to announce and welcome the following new hires to our community:

Katie Cullen joined our Employee Relations team as a Human Resources Generalist supporting the ITS Department. Katie has over ten years of HR experience, including her most recent position as an HR generalist with William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance. During her career, Katie gained experience in benefits and leaves administration, performance management, onboarding new employees, recruiting, training, and developing new human resource policies and procedures. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Quinnipiac University.

Nicole McGrath joined the Employee Relations team as an HR Compliance Initiatives Coordinator reporting to Courtney McCarthy. Nicole will liaise with existing committees within the university on remote, out-of-state, and international work, policies, data, and communications and oversee the process flow of remote work requests for Yale University staff and temporary workers, faculty, and trainees.

Deenal Mannava joined the HR Innovation and Strategic Support team as a Senior Software Engineer. Deenal will identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client and functional requirements, and design and build applications and integrations that integrate with Yale’s systems. Deenal will report directly to Arun Darwar, Associate Director, Human Resources/Payroll/Faculty Systems.

Maggie-Marie Meyers joined us as an Employee Services Support Specialist reporting to Eileen Pepe. Maggie-Marie will serve as a principal source of HR information for faculty and staff, responding to customer inquiries and requests, researching issues, and determining the process for resolution.

Jordan Taylor joins our Employee Relations team as a Human Resource Generalist supporting Yale’s Hospitality department. Jordan will provide alignment as it relates to HR objectives and initiatives that support the business needs across the organization and act as a liaison to other human resources functions while providing guidance and direction on complex issues. Jordan joins us with a wealth of experience in employee relations, workplace conflict resolution, talent acquisition, compliance, and training and holds an M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven.
