Chief Anthony Campbell presented Krazewski with a certificate of achievement and thanked him for his service. “Captain Bill Krazewski performed his duties with integrity and excellence, and perhaps most importantly, he cared about the work and the people he worked with in the department and the community,” said Campbell. “He is a good man and a phenomenal police officer, and the department will miss his presence dearly,”Chief Campbell said.

Every day I raised the flag at school, I would watch the police cars patrolling or heading to an emergency, and I knew I wanted to be that person who responds to help someone.

Kraszewski knew he wanted to be a police officer since he was in the 4th grade.

Having worked under three police chiefs, Kraszewski said he saw a lot of change, and it was for the better. “We used to ask other police departments for their benchmarks, but because of the progressive changes being made here, police departments are coming to us,”Kraszewski said.
