Inaugural Ivy+ Employee Services Center Conference - wrapup

May 26, 2023

Over two days in early May, Yale hosted the very first Ivy+ Employee Services Center Conference at the Humanities Quadrangle. Yale’s Employee Services management team gathered with Human Resources (HR) Operations peer teams from other universities to discuss HR service and working models, current priorities, challenges, metrics, and other topics.

This year’s Yale participants included Jodi McCullagh, Eileen Pepe, Gayle DelPo, Diane Rodrigues, Susan Riggs, and Ashlee Ciliberti, along with their colleagues from Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, New York University, Stanford, and the University of Pennsylvania. Future plans include continuing this conference yearly and expanding it to invite additional US universities to attend.

Attendees from UPenn, Dartmouth, Brown, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, and Yale

The conference was kicked off by John Whelan, vice president of Yale Human Resources discussing current university HR initiatives, and Ron Lipkins, director, HR Innovation and Strategic Support talking about how his team works with Employee Services. The jam packed day concluded with a campus walking tour.  The event was a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with fellow HR Ivy+ peers.
