Scheduled Outages to Network and Phones - various dates: May 15 - June 23

May 3, 2023

  • On various dates, beginning on May 15 and running through June 23, Yale ITS will upgrade the campus network software, specifically impacting networks and phones for all buildings that have already transitioned to the Next Generation Network (NGN)
  • This maintenance involves four separate multi-day phases based on physical location; all outages will occur between 7 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. during each maintenance window - see Details for more information.
  • Additional email messaging will follow approximately one week before each outage. We are communicating to you earlier so that you may familiarize yourself with which NGN Site impacts your building or department, should you need this information for planning purposes.
