Yale Security donates $1,000 to support Autism Speaks.

In observance of Autism Awareness Month, Yale Security had autism-themed patches created and sold them for $10 with all proceeds going to support Autism Speaks an organization whose mission is dedicated to creating an inclusive world for all individuals with autism throughout their lifespan.Autism Patch. Assistant Director of Security Tom Madera said, “This was our first year selling the patches to raise money for autism and to honor a co-worker on the spectrum. I wish we could do more, but this is our way of supporting a good cause.”

Security officers wore the themed patches on their uniforms to raise awareness about autism during the month of April.
