Susannah Gobbi is the chief procurement officer for Yale, reporting to Steve Murphy. She oversees strategic sourcing, buying, facilities purchasing, accounts payables, and procurement operations in this role.
Previously, Susannah worked at General Electric (GE) for 20 years in various roles, including executive vice president and counsel for IT, Sourcing and Operations, executive transformation leader, executive indirect sourcing leader, global software commodity leader, corporate initiatives group manager, and more recently as the executive global indirect leader for GE Corporate and GE Capital. Before her tenure at GE, Susannah worked as an associate at a law firm.
Susannah received her B.A. in Political Science from Hartwick College and her J.D. in Intellectual Property from UIC John Marshall School of Law.
