Jeremy Rosenberg

Jeremy was appointed the Assistant Vice President of IT and CISO at Yale in November 2023.

As CISO, Jeremy leads Yale’s information security program. He balances cybersecurity and compliance risk with the needs of the university’s teaching, research, and administrative missions, emphasizing fundamentals and collaboration. Jeremy is also the HIPAA Security Officer for the university.

He leads the teams providing university infrastructure services, including network, data center, enterprise storage and backup, platform and system administration, and cloud computing technologies. Jeremy and his teams are also responsible for the governance and leadership of the University’s technical strategy and design services practice.

Jeremy joined Yale in 2020 as the Director of Information Security Infrastructure. In this role, he led the Security Operations and Identity Management programs. He brings over 20 years of experience building and leading large-scale technology initiatives. Prior to Yale, Jeremy served as the CISO for the University of California, Berkeley.

Born in Toronto, Jeremy holds an MBA in Management of Technology from the Segal Graduate School of Business in Vancouver, British Columbia.
