Jeremy Rosenberg

As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Jeremy leads Yale’s information security program. He balances cybersecurity and compliance risk with the needs of the University’s teaching, research, and administrative missions. This balanced approach to cyber-risk management emphasizes fundamentals and collaboration. Jeremy also serves as the HIPAA Security Officer for the University.

Jeremy joined Yale in 2020 as the Director of Information Security Infrastructure. In this role, he led the Security Operations and Identity Management programs. He brings over 20 years of experience building and leading large-scale technology initiatives. This experience proved invaluable as he led a campus-wide extension of the DUO MFA technology to the entire Yale community. Prior to Yale, Jeremy served as the CISO for the University of California, Berkeley.

Born in Toronto, Jeremy holds an MBA in Management of Technology from the Segal Graduate School of Business in Vancouver, British Columbia.
