The mission of the Yale Operations Portfolio Management Office (OPMO) is to support, guide, and drive rapid, relevant outcomes aligned to strategic priorities. As leader of this new team, Lisa supports Operations portfolios while establishing and sharing standard tools, methodologies, and training that strengthen project and service delivery across Operations. Through expert portfolio and program management, organizational change management, and process improvement, Lisa and her team help Operations improve the effectiveness of critical, complex core processes.

Lisa has been at Yale since 2013, most recently as senior director of IT Shared Services, where she led a suite of internally-facing shared functions supporting service delivery. Her team represented the areas of the Portfolio Management Office (PMO), the Service Management Office (SMO), Quality Assurance (QA), IT Education and Training, and Enterprise Architecture. Earlier, Lisa worked as director of Web Technologies, guiding web development and platforms and building programs supporting user experience and digital accessibility. Under Lisa’s leadership, the Web Technologies team improved Yale’s digital campus by creating websites that met high standards of usability, accessibility, and maintainability while adhering to Yale’s visual identity standards.

Prior to Yale, Lisa was a web developer and solution architect both as a freelance developer and with iFactory. Before beginning her career in technology, Lisa studied theoretical mathematics and furniture making and supported families through childbirth as a labor and delivery doula.
