Louis Tiseo is the Senior Director of Foundational Technology Services (FTS), and started at Yale in July 2008 as Director of Data Center Services and most recently Cloud Technologies.
Lou oversees the teams that provide University infrastructure services, including network services, data center services, enterprise storage and backup, platform and system administration, and cloud computing technologies. Lou and his team are also responsible for the governance and leadership of the University’s technical strategy and design services practice.
Prior to joining Yale IT, Lou spent 20 years in various technology roles with major global corporations most notable for his role as Director of Global Enterprise IT Systems at Oracle, leading major infrastructure projects in the consolidation, migration and disposition for mergers & acquisitions. Lou also spent three years, during his ten-year tenure, with ACNielsen living and working in Europe responsible for re-engineering efforts to centralize IT infrastructure and operations with 18 countries.
Lou holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from SUNY Farmingdale and a BA in Organizational Management with a concertation in engineering from Ashford University.
