Mark Manton

Lead Administrator and Director, Finance and Business Administration

As the ITS Lead Administrator, Mark Manton is responsible for all aspects of Business Operations. He oversees the Project Management Office, Account Management, Vendor Management, Purchasing, Intern Programs, and Accounting, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Mark has held many senior financial roles at global organizations encompassing all facets of operations, mergers and acquisitions, growth strategies, business development, contract negotiations, cash management, auditing, statistical analysis, and process improvement. Prior to joining Yale, Mark served as CFO of the brokerage house Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. and spent 13 years at General Reinsurance in roles that included leading the Global Budget and Operations team. In this role, Mark harmonized the budget process globally and automated many manual processes including Cash Management, Accounts Payable and Vendor Management.

Mark earned a B.A. in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Denver and has an M.B.A. from Fordham University in the same field. He holds a Green Belt in Six Sigma designation, and is a volunteer EMT at his local ambulance company as well as a ski patroller at Butternut.
