A message from Chief Ronnell A. Higgins
To the Yale Community,
I write to let you know that three undergraduate students were assaulted this evening at approximately 10:40 PM while walking in the area of 35 Whalley Avenue. A white SUV pulled alongside the students and the driver fired a paintball gun, striking the students. The vehicle fled north on Goffe Street. This is the third paintball assault in the last 3 days. The Yale Police is working with New Haven Police to apprehend and deter attacks on campus.
