Action Required by 7/31: YBT Input Needed for Redesign

Several months ago, we communicated the kickoff of the YBT project.  We have made considerable progress on the new YBT design with the assistance of the Advisory Group.  However, there are two significant processes, YBT Roles, and FP/LP setup, that require review/confirmation from the Project Unit Coordinators by July 31, 2107.   

YBT Roles

It is the committee’s recommendation, as well as the vendor, that creating YBT roles can improve the business process to grant access and save administrative time in maintaining the tool.  To enable this, we require input from you on how YBT roles would be set up to meet the needs of your planning unit. 

The YBT roles can be set at the Planning Unit, Planning Unit section, Department or Department Grouping and users are assigned to these groups.  The recommended security levels for individuals are as follows:

1. Planning Unit (full access to FPs and LPs) or
2. Department (full access to FPs and LPs)

NOTE - We understand that this may not work for everyone so there is an option to obtain access with no LP access, if absolutely necessary.

Based on your planning unit’s current set up, attached you will find our recommendations for your planning unit for security access.  Please review the Instructions worksheet and confirm or modify by July 31, 2017. 

FP/LP Set Up

The Business Solutions team has made recommendations on how you may like your FP’s and LP’s set up in the new YBT.  The choices are by org, by department, etc.  On the attachment, you will see the current recommendation for your workbooks.  Please review the Instructions worksheet (see link) and confirm or modify by July 31, 2017.   

Please accept our sincere apologies for the tight deadline.  Due to the Workday implementation, the YBT team has held back on engaging the business community prior to Workday go-live.
