Amy Cocotas Holt serves as the Associate Director of Public Safety Administration at Yale University, where she supports strategic planning and operational coordination for a diverse and dedicated team. Yale’s Public Safety department includes police, security, emergency management, and systems professionals, spanning three unions and management staff.
With over ten years of experience at Yale, Amy works across a broad range of areas—including human resources, business operations, project management, and labor relations. She draws on her background in both higher education and the private sector, where she held leadership roles at organizations such as Cox Communications, Marketing Drive, and Bank Leumi. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and fostering respectful workplace cultures.
Amy earned a B.S. in Corporate Communications from Southern Connecticut State University and holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). Committed to equity and inclusion, Amy previously co-chaired Yale’s Disability Alliance Affinity Group and is a participant in Yale’s Emerge leadership program.
