The Wolson Early Career Development Program is excited to announce the new 2021 cohort and welcome them to Yale IT. Now in its 9th year, the Wolson ECDP places high-performing recent college graduates into various rotations throughout IT.  The program strives to match each participant to the most appropriate ITS opportunity and takes into account the participant’s professional development goals and organizational need.

Continuing the commitment to fostering learning and professional opportunities to college students, IT welcomed 18 interns this summer. While this year marks the 2nd summer of remote work, the dedication of our managers and the enthusiasm of the interns has not waned.

ITS has been evolving recruiting and retention practices in support of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI), and Belonging initiatives over the last several years. Diversity in the workplace is important not only in the culture of our institution but in the material difference diverse perspectives have in problem-solving. Diverse teams are time-proven to be more creative, look at challenges through many different lenses, and collaborate in ways that deliver more innovative results.
