Request a Congruency Review

We have streamlined our process for requesting a congruency review to make it easier for Yale investigators.  A form is no longer needed to request a review.

To request a congruency review, simply email the following information to the DoRC email address dorc@yale.edu:

1.     Grant title   
2.     PI of Grant
3.     Granting agency
4.     Agency award number, if applicable
5.     IRES record number (Grants and Contracts database number), if known
6.     PI of protocol(s) and protocol number(s)

The above method for requesting a review can be used for all award types.  Note that congruency reviews are NOT required prior to submission of an application unless specifically required by the sponsor.  For most federal and non-federal grant applications, we are able to download a copy of the proposal from either eRA Commons (NIH database) or IRES (Grants and Contracts database).  If the proposal is not available on either site, an electronic copy of the proposal will be requested.
