Education and Training

Yale University is committed to protecting the rights and welfare of individuals participating as subjects in its research. One way that the Yale HRPP assists in this is by requiring training and offering educational workshops throughout the calendar year directed at investigators, staff and their research associates where attendees are encouraged to bring questions, suggestions, and points for discussion. These workshops cover topics that include Yale University policies and procedures as well as federal regulatory requirements. Members of the HIC and/or HSC staff may present information at meetings in academic departments or participate in lectures in the University, to emphasize selected aspects of human subject research, and to keep the community informed.
