Federal funding agencies maintain regulations on research misconduct which sets the standard for the Yale Policy on Research Misconduct. These regulations outline the parameters of what constitutes research misconduct and requires institutions receiving agency funding to maintain policies and procedures for reporting and responding to allegations of research misconduct.
