Timely Warning - Shots Fired In The Area Of 27 Dixwell Ave and Lake Place

A message from Chief Anthony Campbell

To the Yale Community,

I write to let you know of a report of shots being fired in the area of 27 Dixwell Avenue at approximately 5:31 pm. It was reported that a black vehicle was involved and fled the area traveling north on Dixwell Avenue. The New Haven Police are investigating. The Yale Police have increased patrols in the area and are working with the New Haven Police to identify those responsible.
