A message from Chief Ronnell A. Higgins
To the Yale Community,
I write to provide you with an update to an earlier message from the Chief. New Haven and Yale University police responded to 88 York Street and found a person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, who is not a member of the Yale community, has been pronounced deceased. Detectives from the New Haven Police are conducting a death investigation and believe this is an isolated incident and that there is no danger to the public. If you have any information regarding this incident please call the New Haven Police 203-946-6304.
