IT Early Career Programs

Yale offers full-time positions, with benefits, to recent graduates and provides them opportunities to directly impact technology at Yale by contributing to the development and support of Yale’s IT services. They will learn about technology trends in higher education and gain new skills while working on IT projects in partnership with staff, faculty, and students. These positions may include roles in Information Security, Systems Administration, Business Analysis, Software Engineering, and more!

Wolson Rotational Early Career Development Program (ECDP)

Wolson Rotational Early Career Development Program – This 18-month program consists of three rotations, six months each, in areas within Yale IT that align with career interests.

IT Associate 2-year Program

This 2-year program provides recent graduates the opportunity to receive hands-on experience within Yale IT to help accelerate their careers.

During both programs, participants will have access to training and professional development workshops, classes, resources, and will be mentored by an IT professional. Because the programs emphasize collaboration with the campus community, participants should be organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups is essential, as is an enthusiasm for exploring how technology can support teaching and learning.

Current College Students

Looking for an exciting summer experience? Our IT Summer College Internship Program offers current college students 10-to-12 week paid positions in Yale’s Information Technology organization. You will work side-by-side with IT professionals on projects matched with your areas of interest and gain valuable work skills.

High School Students

The Yale IT High School Internship Program aims to attract young people to the field of information technology and nurture their interest. The program offers students from participating area high schools opportunities to work in Yale IT during the summer.

Eligible high schools nominate students to participate in the program. Students do not apply directly to Yale IT.
