As a valued supplier to Yale University, we ask that you uphold the following expectations to maintain a responsible and productive relationship:
- Compliance with Labor Laws: Suppliers must ensure that their labor practices align with both local and federal laws.
- Conflict of Interest: Suppliers should proactively avoid any conflicts of interest. If a conflict is unavoidable, it must be promptly reported to Yale Procurement.
- Anti-Corruption: Compliance with anti-corruption laws is essential. Suppliers should operate with integrity and transparency in all dealings.
- Import/Export Regulations: Suppliers are expected to fully adhere to all applicable import and export regulations.
- Fraud Prevention: We encourage suppliers to work with Yale to identify, report, and address any instances of fraud.
- Accurate Records: Suppliers should not make any false, misleading, or artificial entries in Yale’s systems, ensuring all records are accurate and truthful.
- Professionalism: We expect suppliers to treat all Yale employees, students, and community members with the utmost respect. Any form of harassment, abuse, or discrimination will not be tolerated.
- Respectful Workplace: Suppliers are expected to create a workplace where all employees feel respected, valued, and empowered to share their unique perspectives.
- Environmental Responsibility: Suppliers must comply with all relevant state and local environmental laws and responsibly manage any hazardous substances.
- Supplier Gifts to Yale Employees: Suppliers are prohibited from offering gifts to Yale University employees or their immediate family members in the form of cash, gift certificates, vacations, or volunteered services.
