In partnership with New Haven Works (NHW), the New Haven Hiring Initiative (NHHI) advances economic opportunity in New Haven by creating clear and accessible pathways to employment for local talent. NHHI’s emphasis on community to career pipelining is strengthened and sustained by collaboration with internal and external stakeholders that provide education about opportunities for New Haven residents.
NHHI and NHW produce a flagship bimonthly event series, the Employment Readiness Program, at the Dixwell Q House, and offer additional touchpoints with partners that include:

- Information sessions & tailored presentations
- Tabling & event participation
- Trainings & workshops
