On Thursday, January 8, 2026, Yale’s Schwarzman Center buzzed with excitement as New Haven Promise hosted its 13th Annual Internship & Career Fair. This signature event provided a dynamic platform for Promise Scholars and Alumni to connect with meaningful internship and employment opportunities.
The New Haven Hiring Initiative, a premier partner, played a pivotal role by coordinating the participation of 30 Yale departments and more than 70 hiring managers. These representatives engaged with enthusiastic candidates eager to take the next steps in their professional journeys. Managers left inspired by the depth of talent on display and expressed excitement about welcoming these exceptional candidates to their teams. One manager shared that he was “blown away” by the experience—impressed by the scholars he met, grateful for the opportunity to participate, and eager to bring on more interns than originally anticipated due to the strength of the talent pool.
