From November 11 to December 16, 2024, Yale staff members were invited to share their input through the Employee Engagement Survey. With help from Perceptyx, a workplace culture specialist, the survey was distributed to eligible employees, including Clerical & Technical, Managerial & Professional, Police & Security, and Service & Maintenance.

The survey included 38 questions about workplace experience, along with seven demographic questions to capture diverse perspectives across the Yale community. In total, 7,775 employees participated and shared their insights.

Acting on your feedback

Employee feedback is already making a difference. Leaders across Yale’s schools and departments are engaging their teams through action plans that build on our strengths and address challenges—from enhancing career development pathways to supporting well-being and productivity. This ongoing work will continue through summer 2026, with regular updates shared as progress unfolds.
