High Employee Engagement
Results indicate that overall engagement is high, with the university-wide employee engagement score reaching an impressive 85%. This score is particularly noteworthy as it reflects employees’ commitment to Yale. Our data show that an overwhelming 86% of staff would recommend Yale as a place to work, 89% intend to stay at Yale for at least the next 12 months, 86% take pride in working at Yale, and 80% indicate that their work gives them a sense of personal accomplishment.
Notable Strengths and Growth Potential
Areas of strength to build upon and opportunities for improvement have been identified based on the responses to the survey questions. Our top-scoring categories, earning favorability ratings of 69% to 85%, included engagement, teamwork and collaboration, manager relationships, communication, workplace well-being, and growth and development. These results reflect the strong foundation we’ve built together.
