Supervisors: Assist with Yale ID card replacement to prevent building access loss
Yale is replacing Yale ID cards. Our records show a large number of individuals still need to replace their ID cards. To avoid disruptions, please encourage anyone on your team with a Yale ID card reflecting an issue date on or before July 1, 2025, to replace their Yale ID card as soon as possible. On February 17, Yale ID cards with an issue date earlier than July 2, 2025, will no longer provide building access. ITS previously sent emails with instructions to individuals who need to replace their Yale ID card. These emails are unique to each individual; please do not forward these emails. Encourage your C&T staff to take advantage of the ongoing C&T Training & Development Program offerings. By registering through Workday, they will access courses designed to sharpen Microsoft Office skills, explore the campus through exclusive tours, and enjoy more productive workdays through Optum courses. Remember, full-time C&T staff are allotted at least 30 hours of release time for training per year under the labor agreement between Local 34 and the university (prorated for part-time staff).
