New Manager Bootcamp - June 10-11
Are you a new manager at Yale? Join Yale’s New Manager Bootcamp, a 2-day in-person program with hands-on training to help you succeed as a people manager at the university. Hosted at 221 Whitney Ave, LL 5/6, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., you’ll explore topics such as Yale’s expectations for managers, partnering with HR, labor relations basics, building trust, setting clear expectations, creating accountability, and delivering effective feedback. OPMO launches Communities of Practice
Yale’s Operations Portfolio Management Office (OPMO) has recently launched three new Communities of Practice (CoPs), aligned to Business Process Improvement, Organizational Change Management, and Project Management, to strengthen capabilities across the university, enhance collaboration, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
These communities create a space for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation. Through regular sessions, members exchange best practices, tools, and methodologies, and provide feedback on new resources—helping to establish new ways of working, accelerate adoption, and sustain momentum across transformational efforts.
