Happening now: updated Yale ID cards
Beginning this fall, all Yale ID cards issued before July 1, 2025, will be replaced with new ID cards to enhance campus infrastructure and technology. ITS is working with multiple campus departments to ensure minimal disruption during this transition. Community members will receive an email from ITS with specific instructions on how to obtain their new IDs. For more information, visit the Yale ID Replacement Project website or email ReplacementIDProject@yale.edu.
The university is approaching this effort in phases; pickup dates and locations are unique to each individual.

Possible manager action required: OneFinance: Supplier Setup at Yale e-learning module
As part of ongoing efforts to streamline and enhance our supplier onboarding and management processes, we are pleased to announce the launch of the new Supplier Gateway. This week, individuals with the Workday Cost Center AP Specialist role were enrolled in the mandatory eLearning module to gain access to the Supplier Gateway. This role captures the employees who have access to our current Workday supplier request process to set up new suppliers. We recognize that some departments have distributed this responsibility beyond those with the Workday role.
To ensure a smooth transition and effective usage of this new system, manager enrollment for the “Supplier Setup at Yale” eLearning module has been enabled. Should any employees without the Workday role Cost Center AP Specialist role need the training, their manager is able to enroll them in the course. As Workday only allows you to add direct reports, please share this with managers who may have impacted staff.
To enroll a learner in the course, a manager needs to log in to Workday Learning, search for “Supplier Setup at Yale”, open the course, select “Enroll my Team”, and select which of their direct reports to enroll. The course will then appear on the direct report’s learning dashboard.
We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and your cooperation in facilitating this important initiative. Should you have any questions or require further information, please contact askfinance@yale.edu.
