Extraordinary Leader
Register for the November 3 full-day session, which kicks off with a 30-minute virtual orientation on September 10 at 9:30am.
This one-day program provides personalized insights into your strengths based on the research-based Zenger-Folkman leadership competency model. To enhance learning, optional coaching is available for four months to help develop your leadership effectiveness. While open to managers at all levels with at least three years of managerial experience, managers at the Associate Director level and above are strongly encouraged to attend with their manager’s support.
Highlights
This program entails advance preparation, one full classroom day, and optional developmental coaching following the course.
Preparation
- Completion of a self-rating of your leadership preferences.
- A conversation with your manager to review and refine the individuals you select to evaluate your leadership effectiveness.
- An invitation to your raters to provide feedback.
Course experience
- 360-degree leadership assessment of your strengths with anonymous and aggregated feedback from raters, including your manager, your reports, and peers
- Guidance on interpreting your results and building a strengths-based plan to become a more effective leader
Post-course follow-up (Optional)
- Optional one-on-one coaching over four months to help put your plan into action

Advancing the Extraordinary Leader
Register for an upcoming full-day session
The strongest leaders continue to focus on their development, and this program is one of the best ways to do just that. Designed for those who completed the Extraordinary Leader program at least 12-18 months ago, this follow-up half-day experience builds on your progress and renews your leadership focus. It requires advanced preparation similar to Extraordinary Leader.
