Did you miss the Virtual Pet Show?

Yale staff members had the opportunity to show off their furry and feathered friends during a Virtual Pet Show on October 30. If you or your team members were not able to participate, consider hosting your own version (via Zoom or Microsoft Teams) for some remote team fun complete with prizes.

The staff members who joined the event were encouraged to show off their pets in a costume, doing their best tricks, or demonstrating how they like to have fun during quarantine. Ellen Stumph from the Canine Cognition Center made a guest appearance to speak about pooch psychology at Yale and pet wellness tips. And, Officer Richard “Rich” Simons introduced the crowd to Heidi, the Yale Police Department’s latest service dog and ambassador.

Each staff member who signed up for the show was entered into a random-prize drawing of pet swag and supplies. The winners of the pet goodie boxes were Joel Ball, Yale Medicine; Sally Ramponi, Facilities Capital Project Management; and
Jill Ely, School of Medicine, Research Administration. Kimberly Pasko, Internal Communications, won the opportunity to have food sent to a local pet charity of her choice.

Enjoy the Virtual Pet Show at your leisure (you may have to be logged into Office 365 to view it).
