Ronnell Higgins Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Ronnell Higgins, associate vice president of public safety and community engagement, recently received the 2023 Henry C. Lee College Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of New Haven for his contributions to criminal justice and policing.

“I enjoyed attending the University of New Haven as a student and now as a Practitioner in Residence helping shape the thinking for students around contemporary policing issues,” Ronnell Higgins said.

Since 2018, Higgins has taught criminal justice and policing classes at the University of New Haven. He also consults domestically and internationally on law enforcement, campus policing, and public safety topics.

The Henry C. Lee College Lifetime Achievement Award is named after Dr. Lee, a professor of Forensic Science at The Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science named in his honor at the University of New Haven.
