Department Digest – Treasury Services

The department of Treasury Services is a small yet mighty team of seven. They are considered essential workers and their office, which is located in a secured facility, must be staffed on all Yale recess days and any Yale holidays that aren’t also bank holidays. The team was even on-site throughout the pandemic.

Led by Treasury Manager Agnes Siniscalchi, Treasury is accountable for a wide range of financial responsibilities, which include ensuring compliance with bank, State and Federal regulations, managing Post Sponsored and Non-Sponsored Accounts Receivable Payments, overseeing petty cash funds across campus, PCI DSS annual credit card compliance, maintaining customer service and pick-up windows, and daily bank deposits, and many more.

Treasury staff consistently delivers high quality, effective, and timely processing, ensures compliance with university policy, Federal and State requirements, and Bank policies, maintains specialized equipment and software, and communicates effectively, building internal and external relationships.
