Yale ALERT notifies campus community in the event of an emergency

The University uses Yale ALERT to notify the campus community in the event of an emergency. Yale ALERT is ONLY for campus emergencies and not for routine announcements. It is important to keep your contact information up-to-date in Workday or the Student Information System. Detailed instructions for updating are at http://emergency.yale.edu/stay-informed/yale-alert. Updating your information will help ensure that, in the event of an emergency, you can be reached through Yale ALERT.

Additional information about preparing for an emergency is also on http://emergency.yale.edu. Yale contractors, visitors, neighbors, families, and others can now sign up for Yale ALERT.  Text “Join Yale_Alert” to 30890 or go to the Yale ALERT website and follow the directions provided. Save the Yale Alert phone number by downloading the Bulldog Safety @ Yale contact card. Text “YaleSafe” to 444-999.
