Yale Center for British Art reopens March 3

The Yale Center for British Art’s Reference Library and Study Room are now open to all Yale ID holders (with NetID) by appointment. Please check the YCBA’s website for hours and to make a reservation.

The museum will reopen to the public on Thursday, March 3, to coincide with the opening of Bridget Riley: Perceptual Abstraction. Per University policy, visitors aged five and older must provide proof of up-to-date COVID vaccination. Visit our website for additional guidelines and the most up-to-date information.

The YCBA is pleased to present Bridget Riley: Perceptual Abstraction. Unfolding over two floors of the museum, this exhibition traces the career of Bridget Riley (born in London in 1931) from the 1960s through the present day. More than fifty works that were selected by the artist in collaboration with the YCBA will be on view.

We will continue to offer free online programing throughout the semester, including our at home: Artists in Conversation series. Visit our website to register for upcoming talks and to watch recordings of programs you may have missed.
