New Finance course: Introduction to the Chart of Accounts

A new instructor-led Finance Course called the “Introduction to the Chart of Accounts (COA)” is now available for registration via the Training Management System (TMS) in the Finance > Chart of Accounts section. The purpose of this course is to provide a basic understanding of the COA structure at Yale and knowledge on effective use of the COA, enabling consistent and meaningful University reporting. 

This course is designed to provide an introduction to Yale’s COA structure for new users and to act as a refresher for more experienced users with information about segment intelligence and more effective COA usage. The training session is open to all Business Office staff, faculty or students performing Financial or Accounting activities.
