Four Visa Card Programs for paying study subjects

Yale’s Treasury Services announces four Visa Card Programs for paying study subjects:

  1. OnCore is the preferred method for managing studies and paying study subjects. When subjects are enrolled in the program, payments are made automatically once a visit is marked as complete. There is no need to handle cash or reconcile advances. Please contact oncore.support@yale.edu for more information.
  2. Employee Prepaid Visa Cards may be issued to principal investigators and staff. This program allows for electronic funding with cash available at Bank of America branches or at any ATM. Spend Authorizations are submitted via Workday, and eliminating the need to come to Treasury Services in person. Please contact Treasury Services for more information at agnes.siniscalchi@yale.edu.
  3. Anonymous gift cards are available in any amount. These cards may be ordered in bulk. They may be used anywhere that accepts Visa and has no cash option. Please contact Treasury Services for more information at agnes.siniscalchi@yale.edu.
    1. Note: Not available while staff is off campus.
  4. Digital Gift Cards are now available. They may be used for online purchases or added to a digital wallet for in-person payment when they have no cash option. Please contact Treasury Services for more information at agnes.siniscalchi@yale.edu.
