Steps to ensure your IT Update article is published on time

Internal Communications thanks you for your continued partnership when submitting articles to IT Update. To ensure your article is submitted successfully and published on time, please follow these three steps:

  1. Request assistance, as needed: Schedule a Zoom or Teams consultation meeting with Vanessa Macary during weekly Office Hours, Mondays from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
  2. Seek final approval before submitting: Approvers, including management*, should review and approve articles before they are submitted for publication. (Internal Communications does not need to be included in these communications.) After you submit your approved and final draft in a ticket, Internal Communications may make minor editorial changes before circulating a test message for final review by contributors and for awareness to senior leaders.
  3. Submit on time: Final content is due by 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before an edition’s release. Requests submitted after the deadline will be held for the following edition. Submit content using the form located on the Contact Internal Communications web page. For articles related to open ServiceNow Change tickets, please submit a CTASK, instead.
