VPN no longer required for off-campus access to Yale Library
September 3, 2020
As of early August, access to Yale Library electronic resources from off-campus locations no longer requires a Yale VPN connection. When selecting a resource such as an online book off-campus, individuals will be prompted to supply their Yale NetID and NetID password. Multifactor authentication through DUO Everywhere may also be required, as with other Central Authentication Service (CAS) enabled websites. Individuals working from on-campus and connected to the Yale network will not need to authenticate.
