Sponsored Identity (SI) outage and possible action required

Summary

  • ITS will perform maintenance to upgrade Identity IQ (IIQ) to  a new version between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4.
  • The NetID Self-Service Tool, Identity IQ (IIQ), and the Sponsored Identity (SI) system will not be available during the maintenance.
  • Following the upgrade:
    • The IIQ screen, used to approve or reject Sponsored Identity requests, will have a new appearance.
    • The URL for the IIQ webpage will change; possible action required - if you have previously saved IIQ in your bookmarks/favorites, you will need to update these. 

Details

ITS will perform maintenance to upgrade Identity IQ (IIQ) to a new version (version 8) between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4. During the upgrade, the NetID Self-Service Tool, Identity IQ, and the Sponsored Identity (SI) system will not be available. 

Following the upgrade, the IIQ screen, used to approve or reject Sponsored Identity requests, will have a new appearance. All functionality related to the approval workflow will remain the same. Additionally, the URL for the default IIQ landing page will change. Any saved bookmarks (or favorites) for IIQ should be updated after the upgrade.
