Career Development Pathways - NHHI partners with Yale Schwarzman Center

The New Haven Hiring Initiative (NHHI) recently partnered with the Yale Schwarzman Center (YSC). The YSC had an open financial assistant position. NHHI presented residents from New Haven neighborhoods of focus with information about the job opening. The selected candidate will be hired into the New Haven Resident Trainee Program. The program was designed as NHHIs’ effort to support the New Haven community, and it provides hands-on knowledge and work experience at Yale University. Trainees are hired into a 1-year, fixed-duration role with two to four months rotation per department. Duration in each assignment might vary based on the department’s needs and the trainee’s progress.
